About Warren LAH/BNP Program
The Warren Living at Home/Block Nurse Program provides services to keep you or a loved one living at home for as long as possible, priority given to those 60 or older, and includes Warren, Alvarado, and Oslo communities. - The program uses its neighbors as volunteers.
- Provide caregiver companion services
- Respite education & support tools
- Senior pool time
- Stay active and independent for Life (SAIL) class
- Available trikes to be borrowed out in Warren, Alvarado, and Oslo communities
- Rides for in and out of town travels (a small cost for the out-of-town trips) in town are free.
- Help with small chores around the home
- Friendly visits/friendships
- Daily check-ins on the homebound or telephone check-ins
- Respite care for caregiver
- Light maintenance (window cleaning)
- Handicap accessible van will pick you up and bring you to Senior Meals and home again
- Home recycling pick up
- Arthritis Foundation Exercise classes
- Christmas baskets made and delivered
- Health/Depression Screenings/Matter of Balance classes
- Social Events
