The City of Warren Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1883 and is manned by 26 trained volunteer firefighters. The Warren Fire Protection area is approximately 427 square miles and covers 11 townships in Marshall and Polk Counties. The Fire Department responds to emergencies out of one Fire Station located at 221 West Johnson Avenue. The Fire Department is dispatched through the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department utilizing the 911 emergency system.
The Department responds to approximately 50 fire and rescue calls each year. The Firefighters are active in the community with fire prevention and awareness programs for all ages. The Annual Fireman’s Ball is held annually and is the major fundraiser for the Department to purchase fire fighting equipment. The Warren Volunteer Fire Fighters are proud to provide fire protection to our friends and neighbors in the community and surrounding area.
